We are wanting to start a website featuring independent films. There would be a small monthly membership (under $5) and members would be able to watch unlimited movies and shorts. Also they would be able to rate and leave comments about the films they see.
Would this be of interest to film makers to get some of their work shown, we would not be able to compensate in the beginning, but our hopes would be that as membership grows, we would be able to pay for the rights to include films on our website.
Please let us know what you think and any advice would be appreciated. If we move forward with this, our hopes is to have it up in the next six months.
