Can it be done? If say I wanted to use the HPX170 as a webcam (which an SD signal) and I also want to record the same image as HD (720 30pn) at the same time to my P2 cards.
- The yellow component video out and get some converter to firewire?
- SDI out and then get some converter to firewire?
- Component out and convert to firewire somehow??
- OR Just use the firewire (1394) jack built into the HPX170 ? I've tried this but that output seems to switch off in 720 30pn mode (or at least my webcam software does not support HD)???
