Web Series Promo Scene

Hey All,
So last week I posted some stills for for you guys to check out, and now, (besides some sound work and intro and outro effects) the edit is pretty much done.
Let me know what you think!
I for one feel like we used too much light in the back ground.
It also has a slight "soap opera" look to it, which I really don't like. Is that all in the lighting, or is there settings on the "scene settings" of the HVX that I would want to change to get a sharper look?

PS: The end is cut short right now, but it will flash into photos of them partying at the bar.

I think you are referring to the flatness of the lighting, which is soap opera style. I think it's lit very well, but, if you wanted to create more of a mood, maybe light a little harsher to create more tension. Also, perhaps the background is a little too lit, especially if this is supposed to be a "sexy" type of bar, it gives me the feeling of more of a coffee shop the way it is now.
 
haha. sweet short. what sold me was the editing and acting. well I'm a guy and when i go bar hoping i don't wear any boxers. does that make me a man whore? xD
