What is the best way to get my Avid sequence to a high quality file ready for web viewing? Quicktime or WM Player

Yes. ;D

If the webpage and server space will allow it I would encode one Quicktime file and one WM file. That way you have just about the maximum compatability you can for anyone who would want to watch your video.

I use this:
quicktime using the sorenson codec at medium settings
320X240
15 frames per second


Looks pretty good and keeps the file size down.

add qualcom purevoice audio compresion and it helps all the more. I didn't do that on the clip listed above cuz Crazytrain is distorted enuf.
