The arm strap of the DVX100b is attached to its door. While taking a closer look, I realized that ther's only one hindge. And the two hooks that keeps the door closed are attached to the door, which itself is in plastic. I get the feel that while holding the camera through its palm strap, it can come out any time. Is is safe, or are there other preventive tips to avoid a possible dismantle.
