At first I was optimistic about watching this, then as i watched more and more of it, I was more absorbed in it and felt that it was great but didn't really see where it was going, well the ending was surprising but not too much since it was directed by Spike Jonze, overall i especially enjoyed the camera work, the drunk style moving with the character look/effect (focus changes etc), and i actually liked Kanyes performance.

Very bizarre and disturbing in a David Lynch kinda way.

I'm not sure if I liked it or not yet. I think maybe because it just feels a bit too long.

Anybody know what they shot this with? It had a video DSLR feel to it, or maybe a Red One? Could of sworn I saw some minor "jello" in there once or twice.

I loved it. It was a bit long, but it was a mood piece. Spike Jones kept it interesting despite the slow pacing.

Also I really enjoyed Kanye's performance. Didn't know he had it in him.

Loved the "drunk" effect for the video.

People seem to think this is his ego that he's killing, in response to all the craziness. I'm curious to know more about it.

i thought digi slr as well. feels like so they can get close and walk around with out too much work.

It felt more like a skit than a short film. Yeah I agree with you on the camera work Navarro. As much as I loved it's disorientated feel, it still exuded self-indulgence to me.

And I normally love Spike Jonze's films, music videos and even adverts (Ikea one is fantastic).
