We shot this in 4 hours total! 6 hour post!

Nice job Blue.

Crap; I had like a little 'choke' in my throat in the end. And the payoff was great. Once again; content is king.

P.S.

Nice brunette.

Nice work.

The pace and the way you shot it tonally 'fit' the characters and help to really draw you into their world... very sad, but very touching as well. The old woman actress had some excellent moments. It excels in it's simplicity and elegance. I have to admit to some scenes feeling very long, but again, when you have these kinds of characters, the pacing matches their pace of life more, so I think it's more intended.

Nice editing

Nice editing

Sometimes good editing goes right by people because it is done correctly. Is your editing perfect? well, no. But to a point editing is subjective and to me this looks darn near perfect.
You didn't just have talking heads exchanging info.
By splitting up the dialogue with mutliple angles and overlapping shots, you moved the scenes along, thusly avoiding viewer boredom.
Of course, you did what anyone is suppose to do when editing, it's just suprising how many people on this site miss standard editing techniques by a country mile.
And yes, I do agree with you on your lighting.
But, hey...you had a finite amount of time and it takes forever to get great lighting!
Cheers, brother. I really liked it.

Thanks for all the feedback! I'm glad it moved some of you, which is a good thing I guess. So thanks again Mommaerts, RomanJaquez, dvpixl, John Hudson, oscar jaylen, Neil, Chance White, avatuar, PANA MAN, toilet bob, PK, jpbankesmercer and anyone I forgot!

Thanks for the compliment Bryan! Anyone can come up with ideas. You just have to think of them. :)

Great job Bluespider... One word, Respect. All that **** in a 24 hour film festival. I've done one of those before, a lot harder then it seems at first but they're always really fun. I was the director/DP/gaffer/editor for the entire thing so i stayed awake for around 36+ hours. Cast was helpful in setting up lights though. I'm impressed with your work, good job. I'd post my movie but I don't wanna take away from your post.
