We Need Girlfriends EPISODE 6

Hey that was my favorite episode yet! The writing is getting much better and the acting as well. My favorite is Henry. Way to go and keep them coming.
 
I liked how well I connected with the film because you shot it in Brookly and I live there... Where was that actually, it seemed like Bensonhurst or Bay Ridge on 5th ave...
 
Guy's once again keep it up. That one was mad funny. I'm really getting into the series. By the way you guy's shot on the DVX stock lens or do you use anything else? The outdoor night shots look great and the scene by the car under the bridge looked really good. What are you settings?

We shoot in Astoria, Queens actually.

We just use the stock lens on the DVX. Occasionally throw on the polarizer for bright sunny exteriors (sometimes I forget to). And sometimes I use the wide angle adaptor.

As for settings, I don't know them off the top of my head. I set them in the beginning and haven't really touched them since. I, as most users of the DVX, do frequently ride the COLOR TEMP controls, so that always changes depending on the lighting situations.

I love how our outdoor night shots came out with TOM and LUCY at the end. We found a great spot by this Eckerds, which has this bright yellow fluorescent light that just worked wonders in lighting. The close ups look best I feel.

For the under the bridge scene, we shot right on the cusp of sunset, plus it was a grey day, so we had to shoot fast, but the lowlight really gave a nice shallow depth of field for the CU's.
