Thanks everyone. The "SwimFan" line is one of my favorites too.

Some answers:

1. Yes, shot in 24p.

2. Mics: We use a Sennheiser ME-66 shotgun mic, and sometimes we use wireless mics. We have one Sennheiser Evolution G2 100 and we borrow some other crappy ones that sometimes work.

3. Music: We have permission for all of the music. We have a composer friend (Brady Sansone) who does all of our compositional score pieces. He doesn't compose for the show per se, we just use stuff he's composed for us in the past. And for the band songs, we put an ad out on Craigslist/MySpace to feature up and coming bands to have their songs featured in the show. It gets the band more exposure and fans of the band will watch our show. At least that's the idea.
 
Wow. Very cool. I'm doing something like this over this next summer and it's always good to see when it works. You guys really lucked out with the music, it sounds really good.
