there are 1000's and 1000's of idea's in hollywood... every person on a set has idea's - what they don't have is a script ( finished) .

it appears you have one so forget telling us you have a brilliant idea - tell us you have a brilliant script !!!

what's has been happening with your script the past 5 months ??

You've got a lot of work ahead of you. On my first feature I thought I was right on the money with concept but as a creative person i still had to dig in and spend months scouring the library on legal issues, LLC's, tax implications and such to make investors feel comfortable.

Ideas are only ideas as donatello has mentioned. My investors were impressed with my professionalism and honesty more than any kind of overselling (smells of amateurism ). I told the truth.....I thought I had a great idea and had a great chance of getting some festival play, etc., etc. , but i also realized and communicated that all investments had a good chance of being lost. You have to say this to them legally and no matter how brilliant you idea is it's the law that you have to talk to potential investors this way.

I don't have the energy to lay out an entire business route for you, but if you're looking in the 2-3 million range you should do some research on the governments Jobs Creation Act of 2004. There is a loophole that allows the investors of films over $1 million to deduct their investment off of their passive income. Most people don't know about this, but if you can hook up with one rich person that is always looking for deductions chances are that they will know other rich people.
