Background Info:
Ways to Go is a film written and directed by Alexander Crews. The story centers around a newly wed couple as they reach the end of their long journey. This is the story of Ren and Ava's last days together as they struggle with her terminal illness, and all of the mixed emotions as they try and live out the finals days in fun and adventure.

The film takes place in the area around San Simeon, CA on the beautiful PCH. A majority takes place on the famous cliff-side Route 1, a beautiful stretch of road running from San Simeon all the way to Monterey Bay. This beautiful location and the characters will be captured through the lens of Justin Aguirre, the Director of Photography for this project. He is the eyes behind the look seen in the concept trailer, although the best is still yet to come.

Ren and Ava are played by actor Federico Friciello and actress Alicia Castille. A couple in real life, their natural chemistry and playful nature work to breathe life into the film, giving it an existence of its own as they live out the tragic "what if". Both are excellent actors, dedicated to the craft and their talent will be the shining backbone of this film.

Last but certainly not least, James Clarke is the sound mixer and composer for Ways to Go. He has extensive experience in several aspects of audio ranging from folly to song writing. He is responsible for the score heard in the trailer.

Film looks gorgeous. Brought a tear to my eye just watching. Will buy in it a heartbeat when it comes out. Congrats.

Looks great - I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this. I like that the actors are also a couple in real life.

Nice concept trailer. You've got a nice look going there. :)

Do you guys have any idea of when you'll be starting production?

Thank you guys for those very kind words!

Michael: We are aiming to go back out in the next few months. We are waiting for funding at the moment.

I believe I promised some photos and I'm going to deliver... now!

Our whole cast and crew, well minus me since I'm taking the photo haha. Don't you just love the expression our actress is making when I said "cheese".

We didn't have an actual car mount so I had to build one out of mainly gobo arms and a Bogen Magic Arm. Jeeps are simply amazing for attaching grip equipment.

This was taken at the wrap of our second day. The sunsets for the entire trip were amazing!
