Waveform monitor on HPX170 - how to use it?

Any pointers on how to use the waveform monitor would be much appreciated. A search of all forums and the net has surprisingly turned up v. little that I can apply to this camera. Thanks - Bowen

Buy your book Barry? Yeah, since I posted this question in the wrong place I guess that's the only answer I'll get. As de-facto part of the Pana team (small kick in the shins), why not talk to Jan and make it available as an e-book to download free (or half-price etc) for new Pana buyers. Only free in the USA is ill-will elsewhere. Luv ya anyway and just bit the bullet; clicked on your link and bought it for $OZ150. Now the long wait till the international snail mail arrives and I get an introduction on how to use a wave-form monitor.

I ordered Barry's book a little while back and the old snail mail turned out to be quite quick. Even in remote karratha.
Lots of good stuff in it, enjoy when it arrives.

I've bought the Barry's DVXbook
I've bought the HVX book, too...

Now I own an HPX171 and I need the HVX/HPX book but, sincerely, I should pefer don't buy another book for just a few chapters that are not included in the HVX book.
