Hey Guys,
So I'm always a bit nervous to showcase my work due to the level of inexperience; however I truly value the criticism when it comes to improving facets of my filmmaking. I entered this short into a festival and the rules were that I only had one week to shoot, edit, correct the film.
I showcased it on HV20.com and there was some confusion regarding the plot which I'll try to clarify here with a brief synopsis: the group in the film are Water Runners and their job is to test samples from bodies of water for radiation. In recent years the mind-set has shifted to far more aggressive as bandits are becoming more of a problem and runners find themselves defending themselves more than actually gathering water. This is the story of one such team.
I hope you guys enjoy it. Despite being only a week I poured a lot into the film and ended up shooting, editing, directing, and producing it with everyone else serving as talent and the occasional boom-operator :grin:
