I think John Stewart is doing a pretty good job. He has always seemed like he 'understands' comedy.

I think Clooney deserved it for Syriana. Though I must admit, I totally thought it would go to Gyllenhaal.

Man I miss The Daily Show... John kicks ass!

At least we get the Oscars over here live :)

P.S. Congrats to Garrett Brown for another techie oscar the other week, this time for SkyCam :thumbsup:

I'm torn on the Visual Effects Oscar. I think Kong deserved it because, let's face it, Kong was AMAZING.

But to be honest, I think War of the Worlds had cleaner effects overall.

Okay, so I forgot the Oscars were on tonight. Yes, I do live under a rock. I suppose I could watch them. I mean, I am just checking out the special features on John Singleton's Baby Boy.

I'm about to fall asleep anyway.

p.s. I hate Monday's (that's in case I forget to tell ya'll tomorrow.)
 
Okay... they had that tribute to 'people who played famous people' and they showed a clip of someone playing Charlie Chaplin. What film is that!? I would be really interested in seeing it!
 
^^^ she was obvioulsy having a terrible time reading the teleprompter; I felt so bad for her.
 
Actually it was Bergman who was having trouble with the teleprompter. Dench was being made fun of in the commercials bit.

Anybody else notice that the audience isn't really laughing at anything? I mean, there's been some pretty funn jokes, but most people are getting no reaction.
