Hey guys,
Here is a trailer for a horror movie we did a couple months ago, just entered it in an online competition.

Shot in one day on the DVX100a, edited in two days with Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Maya (for the titles). We'd love any feedback, and if you like it, please vote on the site.

Thanks,

WARNING:
The trailer opens with some adult material.

Might want to add a disclosure for people at work.

Looked pretty good, but I'm going to have to agree with Como on the V.O. It just brings the production value down. A lot. Image's looked great, though...

How did you get those locations????

Thanks for the comments... RCbrown, good call on the disclosure.

We were going for a Grindhouse style trailer, hence the VO done in that style. The voice probably is too much though.

In terms of locations, we just called up as many prisons we could in Wilmington NC and found one that was closed down. It was great, we had freedom to film anywhere inside for 6 hours, there were so many great rooms to film in. I was amazed that three 20-year-olds were able to get such a good location, for free, without showing them any prior experience.

I liked that a lot. Very cool idea, great location, great cinematography! That right there was better than Hostel(Hostel sucked)...... :)
