Watch a true Steadicam Master at work.

So a while ago the SC forum found this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BfjjDczDMM&feature=channel

Looks like someone did some clever computer stuff and managed to extract the original audio to hear what was being said at the time:

Fascinating.

[Matt Gottshalk]

I'll reserve judgement until I see the actual footage he shot.

I dont believe an insane steadicam shot like that can save the singers hairdo or suite :engel017:.

Hmm...

Steadicam Master?

Hmm...

Okay, okay... I'll post my reel.

Now where did I put that $14 rig?

[TimurCivan]

segways are fast..... thats an awesome shot... now do that with Bono instead....

[Cassius]

That audio replacement was genius. The segway one... most of it is a variation of normal, but that transition from wheels to stairs takes a special person to pull off.

The operating style is a lot like Johan Sandklef, who usualy does the main ESC show. This was from a warm up show, where the country vote for the act they send (as far as I know anyway)

Theres an amazing Johan Sandklef reel on youtube too:

Here

[Erik Olson]

I got to the Chapman-Leonard 3 Remote head videos, which lead to Pursuit Systems and the TechnoJib and very quickly forgot all about the no footage Steadi assassin. Booooring!

[Cassius]

I don't know what country that is, but they have terrible taste in music.
