Have a look at our latest project, completed last weekend for the Hampton Roads edition of the 2010 48 Hour Film Project.

SPOILERS

Nice.

Some shots seemed to linger a bit and his jacket looked far too clean when he came in. Especially from the front. Nice camera movement.
Lighting was good, picture looked good.

Great for a 48 hour festival.

Some sound seemed a bit too canned and I think there may have been plenty of ADR unless Vimeo was off a bit.
As for the story, they were way too nice and I knew exactly what was going to happen to this poor guy shortly after the mouse trap.
Right down to the cannibalism.

With electricity and all certainly they could have cooked him? :)
Great job though. For a 48 hour festival this was very good.

What was the crew/camera?

Also, how did you shoot the scene where he comes in and takes off the goggles for the slowmo? What were your settings there? Looked pretty smooth.

Thanks man, always good to here your thoughts.

All on set sound, audio quality is strong actually, could be vimeo or we could need to revisit our synching on a couple clips.

What was the crew/camera?

Relatively small crew, maybe 9 people total. DP was Steve Strickland, he did Teacher's Pet a couple years ago on here. Geoff Albach did sound for our Saturday shoot, he was also part of the Teacher's Pet. Mostly shot on 7D with a little T2i mixed in.

Also, how did you shoot the scene where he comes in and takes off the goggles for the slowmo? What were your settings there? Looked pretty smooth.

7D, 60fps converted down to 24p

I loved Teacher's Pet.

Good stuff and thanks for the info. As for canned sound, the bottle breaking sounded really fake, for example.
The dialogue was strong and clear, maybe Vimeo was off on the sync or it was just my laptop.

Cheers,

Yeah, that was one of those deadline looming solutions, we will go back and revisit that sort of stuff, as well as letting Peter score an actual edit instead of having to just provide bits and pieces.
