EDIT:

I kept the music (sorry) but added some sound design. Some ambient and some voice-over.

This is some stuff I shot while on vacation in and around Seattle last week. This is Part III from our trip to the north west corner of the state. Port Townsend, Dungeness etc.

Great footage Captain! I really enjoyed it. I didn't care for the music too laid back for what was going on IMHO. But I give you props for the rest of it. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks -- the music started out just as a mood/pacing thing for me. I was going to change it, but decided to keep ... for now.

Thanks,

I love when we get little tours of places I have never been. Thanks for sharing Capt.

The dark skies on the beach were great. Add's such a dynamic to the shot

that was really good but the music got a little boring, I am going to do something like this but in New York, i just got back and i will be posting a clip sometime.

Did you're kids get upset that you were playing with the camera and not them? Hehe. I'm only kiddding. The video looks very good. some of those wide land shots remind me of djsecta footage. The music didn't bother me TOO much. Yes, it was a little slow, but I didn't think very innapropriate.

Did you have any protection for the camera from sand and water? I remember once, with my XL1, I shot some stuff in the snow, and all I had was a plastic bag, so I put that over it, and ripped a hole for the mic and lens. Good times.

Take Care.

They're used to it. Daddy's had a camera up to their faces their whole lives. Even there at #3's birth!!

No protection for the camera. We weren't out in the elements too long. My tripod's got sand in it's feet, but the camera's fine.

Yes, had Djsecta in mind when shooting. When with the tripod trying VERY slow camera moves or NONE at all. Tried working framing for all shots. Even tried a little 'dolly' move on Linda and 3 on the ferry.
