Warranty transfer

Hi,
I'm trying to sell my AF102 (which you can see in the Marketplace!), and was wondering if the warranty can be transferred? I seem to recall someone mentioning it previously. Any word from Panasonic on this?

Is there a good U.S. contact to call direct to get this question answered. I've emailed via my PASS account but I haven't heard anything yet and I have someone waiting to buy the camera. Jan? Thanks in advance!

The first year warranty is not transferrable. The remaining extended is. You should email pbtsservice@us.panasonic.com. The PASS should also work, but they may be caught up in after Holiday extra work. This is only for USA customers.

Well since I cannot read how you phrased the question, I repeat what I said above. The Extended Warranty is transferable and the initial 1 year is not. You do need to coordinate this with service so that the new owner is written into the PASS system. If you would like to send me a copy of the correspondence in a PM, I will walk down the hall and get it clarified once again. But to my knowledge it is exactly as I have stated it.
