Warranty on 100b

Hello all,

In the process of buying a dvx100b. I'm using this to shot a number of different shorts, and docs, and videos.

Now I'm stuck, should I buy a used camera (20 hrs on the head) with a 30 day warranty, or go with a new camera with a 4-year warranty?

Th price difference between both is about 400, if I get the used one which I'm fine with too, I can get a nice tripod and boom.

What say you all?

Does the warranty not even matter?

if the used one is in good condition i say get it....heck u have 30 days to try it out and see if its ok.
 
So, what you're saying is that it doesn't matter, and I should go ahead with the used one, and not worry about it breaking down or anything?
 
I bought mine new from speccom...however many here have bought theres in good condition and nothing is wrong with them. So what i am saying is that u have a 30 day warrenty ...oh wait...i interpreted that warrenty as a 30 day return policy. Anyway if its in good condition when u check it out then i say go for it. You just have to know what good conition is. But it has 20 hrs on the head...that is basically new. Still get someone to check it out if you can. But many and i repeat MANY here have bought there's 2nd hand without any issues.
