Warco

[Pookie]

Warco — short for War Correspondent — is an upcoming video game in which the player takes on the role of a journalist named Jesse DeMarco. Despite being classified as a first person shooter, the objective is to shoot people with a camera rather than a gun. After venturing into dangerous conflicts and risking your life to snag some footage, you’re given the task of editing the video into a compelling news story.

So I guess in co-op your buddy can hold the boom?

As a video editor AND video game player, this looks like a complete failure.

You have to give them credit for trying something new. Probably wont work in the long run, but its refreshing to see a new concept brought to a classic gaming theme.

Now hold on a second. They're shooting in 24p. Are they reporting news or making a movie?

[David Jimerson]

Considering the gaming audience is probably >95% male, and the FPS subset probably upwards of 99%, why would they give Jesse DeMarco a female voice?

Because that's the only female who will talk to most of those guys?
