Wanted Trailer - Shot on RED

just to be clear, it IS shot on film. They were using red for their effects shots.

for a full on RED feature, we're gunna have to wait for the Soderbergh movies

Trailer looks like it could be fun, although the trailer makes it look Matrix-ee, only "stupider"

-He doesn't know who he is
-High ranking female character finds him
-Black mentor character
-They have greater control of time and space
-"Kill one, save a thousand"

but who knows, might be cool

I was pretty much thinking Matrix as I watched it. But I'm going to see it any way looks like an enjoyable film.

Dont' go throwing around false information... have people thinking that RED really is film or something...

wow, this was an awesome comic book and they've taken everything edgy and interesting out of it. did anyone else ever read the original?

Yeah. It's still one of my favorite series. Now the supervillain angle appears to be gone, and I doubt the police station massacre will be in there either. Very disapointing. Still, looks like a fun action flick. Too bad I'll just spend the whole movie wishing they'd stayed truer to the comic, because it would be so much better in that case.

Looks really bad. It's too bad that people are going to think it's shot on RED. Some of it looks so poorly done that I thought it was a very expensive spoof or joke of some sort. :(

I don't think it looks that bad, I've never read the comic, but it may be just a nice action flick. This is often stated in the Transformers thread-sometimes it's just nice to watch an action film for the sake of the action.

I'm not going knock people for that, but that's just not something I can relate to at all.

GOOD movie with action is cool by me, but action and nothing else just annoys me to no end
