Hey there, I am looking to buy a used Sony FS100 (and accessories if you have them) ASAP. With the 11/3 announcements from Canon and RED, I'm sure there have to be some of you looking to sell asap!

(Would also consider looking at the Panasonic AF100 if you have one for sale)

Let me know. I'm in the Los Angeles area and ready to spend $$$.

Thanks!

I think that announcement actually made a few more people happier they got the FS100. Most aren't going to consider Canon and RED definitely looks tasty, but the extra $5k+ at the end of the day might just be too much more for some people to spend..

I ordered the Scarlet. But who knows when it's going to arrive. The FS100 is a real bargain and I intend to keep it.

Plus, the FS100 can mount every single lens that I own due to the NEX mount FFD, whereas the Scarlet / Canon will not. I like that flexibility. For "low budget" projects a great tool.

I'm just guessing, but it might almost be HARDER to find a used FS100 for sale now. I think if the Scarlet/Canon
would have come inlower on the price point, there would have been a flood of FS100's on ebay. Because of the big
separation in price, I think a lot of people who may have given up the FS100 will hang on to them. Good luck in
your search, I hope you find one! They are a great camera!

Agree 100% ... I, like many, thought the value would drop today. But, as we all now know... the new cameras aren't exactly in the same range when it comes to $$ ...

Guess I should have tried to buy on 11/2! Haha

That is EXACTLY what you should have done! I bet some people were getting nervous enough and you may have been
able to get a deal! Anyways, take a look here for a good deal on a used FS100, you won't find a better deal
anywhere I bet, you are getting a Novoflex $300 adapter which will allow you to mount Nikon lenses and get
smooth aperture control, plus a 3 hour and 6 hour SDHC card, plus two extra big batteries, all for the price
of a brand new NEX FS 100. And the 'used' NEX FS 100 that they are selling has less than 5 hours on it. Seems
like it might be right up your alley:

If you want to take one for a test drive - just rent for a day.

Good luck "trying one out" for sale on the innertube! ;)
