Was it really necessary to post another "Wanted" thread?

No offense, but you completely disregarded anyone's advice yet continue to resurrect older FS threads with low ball offers. I understand your age and limited budget, but unless there's something seriously wrong with the camera, you'll be hard pressed to find someone willing to part with a DVX(any variant) for under $600 as of yet.

and ill do whatever i want.

Well you might find yourself on the wrong side of the mods eventually.

Looks like people have given you good advice throughout and tried to be of assistance, think youre being slightly immature even for a 15 yo. People in the market place are actually trying to sell equipment and bumping very old threads and double posting isnt really fair to those that do use the forum respectfully.

well maybe im not filthy rich like you GymNuts. and ill do whatever i want.

I think I'll take the high road on this one. Good luck clacking your gums in search of the $600 DVX when other cameras that spit out a better image quality and are priced at $600 are staring you squarely in the face, MikeY.

What says he's rich? He's right! Unfortunately for you there's no way that you'll find a dvx or anything like that that cheap. Maybe you'll find a gl1 for like 800, but your money would be better spent getting an hv30 or hfs100 and learning to really push the camera. There are people who DO have money that have done that and the results are great.

dont write to me usless your answering my questions. im not into actually film and big-movie stuff...im into snowboarding ACTION SPORTS. i get free stuff to snowboard, but i dont get cameras. i dont need/cant afford yet something thats 3 grand. just cut me some slack. cant you tell im new to the website ****.

I started on a gl1 and it was a great camera. I don't see them for sale often though.

You might want to take it easy with the attitude with people. One of the best things about this board is the high maturity level and virtual lack of flaming. I'd recommend you try to keep it that way and play nice.

I don't know what's wrong with the HV30. It's a good cam for $600, cheaper if it's used. You can get near quality of XH-A1 with it. The XH-A1 is still much better because of manual controls, but the HV30 is very powerful for the money. If you're shooting action sports, recording in 60fps would suit your needs since you can slow it down 2x to 30fps. I'm not sure what you are looking for, but it seems your best option right now is an HV30. I don't know why you are getting frustrated at the suggestions of other users when ur budget will certainly not get you a DVX. A GL1 is nice, but HV30 picture quality is better, and that's ultimately what it's about.
