[WTB] Wanted: broken Nikon manual lenses

Yes a strange request. Some of you have seen my DIY lens gear thread, and a few people have inquired about gears for Nikon lenses... I don't own any Nikon lenses so it's hard for me to measure them for gears. If you have any broken AI and AIS lenses I may be interested in obtaining some common lengths that are in non-functional condition but have undamaged focus rings. I'd even take the rings only if the lens is apart. Not trying to make a business out of supplying focus gears so I don't really want to go through and buy a full set of different lenses.

Ugly, nasty, mold covered, went through a flood lenses would be fine. Dropped and cracked might be OK if the focus ring isn't dented. Group separation is perfectly good, as is broken mounts and jammed iris.

You're a little too late to get to the game. There is a guy name Sean on ebay has pretty much all the gear ring for all the lens. He sells for $30 a piece.

Or you can ask your buyer to dyi measure the lens themselves and sent to you.

Not really interested in getting in the game, figured I could offer them to people on the forums more as a service. Not enough money in this to consider it a profit source.
