Here ill give you a bump and at the same time ask ... What does a achromat used for ?

You use it between the camera and the adapter so you won't have to zoom in too much or to avoid vignetting depending on the lens...on my case, I need it for both. Also, if you use a cheap macro you'll probably get color aberration and barrel distortion.
