Hey there,
So I bought a slider for an upcoming job, but since it's coming from Canada it may not be here in time. Does anyone know of a production house in Houston that rents a slider I can throw an FS100 with a lens, monitor, and matte box on? Figure the rig will weight around 10 lbs.
I saw that Tex Cam rents out a not particularly good slider @ 150/day, and I can get the same one from borrow lenses for about $50 per...but I'd have to have it shipped out too far in advance, and don't want to be stuck with two sliders on the day of the job!
I'd like to find a place I can go rent one at in the 11th hour, if it looks like my package won't arrive in time.
If anyone has any leads, please let me know...and thanks in advance!
