Want to Buy: used 100A in Canada

[strangways]

Hello all,

I thought I'd throw this "want to buy" out here in case anyone is considering selling...

I'm looking for a used DVX-100A (must be the A) specifically from someone in Canada, as I'm sure they'll hit me with horrible taxes on a shipment from the States.

The Greater Toronto Area would be even better, for an in-person pickup.

I'm willing to offer $2,000 - $3,000 CDN, depending on condition (head hours) and accessories included (case, batts, etc)

Thanks!

Or, on the other hand,

If I can only buy one new, does anyone in Ontario have suggestions on where to buy?
So far, the best price I've found is $4,300 from Cinequip Whites in Toronto.
