Hello, I am new in this forum. I am a filmmaker from Europe and I am searching for a Panasonic LA7200 anamorphic lens. So if you got one, write me please.

Welcome to the forum! I am sort of a filmmaker from Europe too and I too need (want) a LA7200. I hope you find one through here, but I have to warn you: these things stay very expensive, even if they are second hand. Been hunting on one I can afford for a year now, but still no succes. Sometimes you'll find one that isn't that pricy, but then the seller is in the USA or something (shipping international isn't something all buyers are willing to do, besides the costs you'll have on top of the price).

I would suggest that you both do everything you can to NOT use the anamorphic lens, even if it means buying a new camera (really!). I shot a short and a feature with it. It is a GIANT pain in the ass: Hard to focus, EXTREMEly critical focal plane, hard to keep clean...and more.
 
Anamorphics in general require more effort and patience. But when used correctly they can give great results. However, the panasonic anamorphic lens is a focus through lens. When you understand it's limitations it is quite easy to use.
 
Cyclone, recently I decided to save money for a HMC150/151. Meanwhile I'll keep playing/working/practicing with my beloved DVX without the LA7200. Hadn't told anyone yet :)...
 
I have one for sale - already PM'd with poster - but I want 500 Euros to split it from my camera kit.

Thanks for the heads-up. But that was wat I ment: valuable things, even nowadays.

I rented a HMC150 for a shoot tomorrow, and now I am in love. so all money will eventually go to that item and not to a add-on for my current camera.

Mabey someone else who's looking for one will find this topic and then we'll all be happy :).
