Hey everyone,

I'm searching all over the net for stock footage for a production I am working on. Basically a 4 minute montage of "Extremes" - emotion, people's faces, nature, weather, speed, timlapse, abstract - pretty much anything that's cool, that shows some element in an extreme situation - keeping away from sport, or static shots. I have an HVX200 but am not able to capture all the shots I need in the time available to me.

I'm interested in talking with anyone who has footage that you think is appropriate, and would like to send me a showreel of some description, and talk/negotiate pricing on any footage that we like! If you specialise in stock footage, have something you think I need to see or want more info, drop me a post or email me:

I am working in 720p/25 editing time base but shooting at 720p/25PN - not too fussed on frame rates as most footage will be slowed down/sped up.

Look forward to hearing from you all.

Thanks,

Himy

PS. Hope this is in the right forum section!

Is this extreme enough for ya? :)

Kevin - I'm a big fan of the work I have seen of yours - Barry Green showed us some of your footage at the HVXlaunch in Brisbane Australia - I will contact you directly via email :)

Michael - I am about to look at your site now. Thanks.

Kevin, are you the guy who shot the footage of the wolves eating a deer carcass from 25 feet away? I saw that footage at HD Bootcamp in L.A. - amazing!!!

Hey Saddler,
Yeah, that was me. Thanks for the compliment. It was farther away than 25 ft though. It just seemed allot closer than that. :)
Trying to get funding to go to Africa next year and spend a few weeks shooting like a mad dog. Know anyone that wants to sponsor me? :)

When you say sponsor me??
What are you thinking it will cost?

..5,000 - 10,000 should do the trick. it gets pricey when your "shooting" the animals with something other than a camera though. my inlaws just got back from there with some comsumer mpg2 handycam footage. ive got to say that the place , people, nature is so photogenic that even footage from that was really watchable.

Himy,

ive got about 4 minutes i shot of this real life scene.. (1080 24p) i would consider it to be both "extreme" in nature, and dealing with human emotion. is this the sort of thing your looking for?

Yeah, I think we were looking at 7,425.22 USD
Julie has the exact numbers since she's the financial part of Silver Phoenix.
I believe that was for ten days

Wow Neil that is really intense - do you have any close up footage of that, with the girls silhouetted?? I never had that type of footage in mind but there's something intense about it!
