Wall Street 2

Sheen at one point was as solid as a young actor could be. While his contemporaries were doing brat pack films, he was doing Platoon, Wall Street, Lucas, a scene stealing cameo in Ferris Buellers Day Off. He was great in Young Guns.

I like Shia. I think he is much better an actor than we're seeing.

Shia does seem hopelessly lightweight up against pretty much the Darth Vader of business movie villains. Feels more like casting for demographics than best fit for a role. After so many years would have been nicer to see Gordon Gecko up against someone a bit more his gravitas equal- like say Jack Bauer or Col. Landa.

I'd buy my ticket now if I could. F'in' A! This is one sequel I did not expect and I am stoked about.

:crossing fingers for it to be as phenomenal as it should be:

I love Shia, and I am happy that he got this role. I wish him the best and hope he grows with it.

I must admit that I first thought "not Shia" but then thinking about it, I realised that I had only seen in movies that didn't require a lot of versatile acting. So I guess I will judge him AFTER Wall Street 2.
