Well I am buying a camera in the next few weeks or so and HMC150 got my attention in terms of price, features and quality.

I actually didn't save the original file because it was a test and I have a tendency to trash a lot of work that are just tests. However, I still have a compressed MOV file that I compressed with Apple Compressor. You'll notice the artifacts in the footage because it's not the RAW footage.

I've seen both great and bad footages out there but it's hard to judge when watching these over Vimeo or Youtube since they are all recompressed in such way. I guess thats why people wanted to see both raw and CC'ed footage to judge the quality. Your slow mo footage looks so wicked! So smooth! But how does it look in full 720p?

I've seen both great and bad footage with the RED ONE. It's really depends on who's behind the camera.

I'll see if I can more footage to upload for you RAW and CC'ed. That should ease some of your worries. On a side note, did anyone even noticed that YouTube's HD now is displaying even bigger?

Well if you ever shoot in 1080p please post it on Youtube as well and if you can post the non Youtube/Vimeo version so when can all download it and examine the quality of it. Can you post the full 720p file of your current footage at some free file hosting service for us to see?

Next time I post footage, I'll try to post all my shots including the RAW and edited versions. I really love this camera, but I think I have to disclose that I started with the HV20, so it's a huge step up for me. :beer:

[Retrospective]

Thanks some1shero for providing the 720p! Yes, it would be awesome if you can upload a 720p/24 or 1080p/24 raw footage of even just 20-30 secs. Maybe like a stabilizer shot like the one you posted on Youtube.

Haha yes! Noticed Youtube's HD is even bigger now! Looks like Vimeo's end is near! :O wow! Hopefully Youtube won't limit user's upload of HD materials.

I have also started with an HV30 and I loved the quality of gives, the cine mode colours are awesome, Im hoping its very tweakable with the HMC150!
