Walking into EVS is dangerous...

Hawaii eh? My sister goes to school at U of H. It's nice there, I was over there in November....I don't have an EVS, but I *do* have professional video and tape. I walked in there the other day to get my camera cleaned, and they had a huge Avid setup with mulitple monitors, not to mention a few Vinten and Cartoni tripods set up. Too bad the only camera they had set up with a chrosziel matte box was a PD-170 and not a DVX....

WaveRiderXIX ,

It is not over yet... You need a wind screen for your mic and equally important a zoom remote for your DvRigPro.

Danny.

Ok, finally took some pics.
This is with the stock Lens. The .8 wide angle will not fit. Supposedly they make one for the 16:9 adaptor. Only downfall about the hood... (it blocks the mic) gotta find a shoe with a long extender to put the mic on top of the camera to mount it. Anyone have suggestions?

Hey Barry, Waverider, TC, and everyone else, a big heartfelt THANK YOU for coming in and making it easy for us to make you happy!

Waverider try this mic mount for your mic, and here is a windscreen too:

See what I mean!!! This is exactly why it's dangerous!!! More stuff to buy and now it's followed me online!!!
(Rush, I'll be coming in later this week to check out that Mic Mount)

As to the mic mount... I can see where the shoe mounts to the camera, but is that high enough to pass through the extended French hood of a matteblox?

You're welcome vj!

Waverider, it should clear it just fine, we have a Cine Kit DVX in rentals with the mb100m and this MZSCAm shockmount. It rides pretty high in there.

Rush, I've been chasing you around the forums (great thing, this 'Rush is viewing....' feature). can you check your PM and e-mail? I want my stuff, and I want it yesterday!

Got some order waitin' for ya!
