Okay, then what are those dark edges. It looks like you projected it on film because of the drop off in light on the sides. I'm just asking about it because it looks strange. So when are you going to have some video of the wakeskating. By the way, what is that.

I’ll post some footage of the wakeskating once I finish the edit, hopefully in about a week.
Wakeskating is basically skateboarding on the water, your pulled by jetski or boat and the tricks are very similar to skateboarding.
The darkening on the edges are from the clouds in the sky, it was getting very dark, but the sun setting reflecting off the water and the wide angle of the lens I think give it that vinetting look.
I also want to post some footage of a project I just shot using the Mini35 w/ a cook 20-100 motion picture zoom lens, I’ll try and post some grabs this weekend.

I am from Sterling Heights, MI but we were shooting this in Farmington Hills, MI, I think on Elizabeth Lake.

grab looks good. So wakeskating is different from wakeboarding? man i remember when i started skateboarding and getting laughed at like 18 years ago, now it is influencing all kinds of other sports and parents accept their kids doing it because they see you can make a living at it. Can't wait to see some footage to check some tricks out.
