Waiting for an Agent to call me back

Just wondering how long would any of you give an agent to call you back?

Working in LA mostly or even when we shoot out of state we've worked with an LA casting director.

I’ve never had an agent not get back to me.

Basically I wanted to do a test shoot with an actress friend and it would be a paid gig.

She said it'd be okay. I'd just have to let her agent know what's going on and don't worry about paying her.

So its been 4 working days since I called the agent and left a voice mail and a message with her assistant.

I did text my friend on the day I called her agent to let her know she'd probably get a call. Since then I haven't heard back from the actress or her agent.

Okay while writing this my friend did text me and wanted to know if I heard back from her agent. Will text her back and tell her nope. But I'm still debating about this now. Not thrilled that her agent did not get back to me when the shoot was scheduled for this Friday.
 
If she's a friend, why did you have to call her agent...also if she's helping you for free, there's nothing in it for the agent...this may explain the lack of contact.
 
I know what's going on now. That's a long story and its comical.

So, my DP who is flying in for the test from LA (state), we decided just to figure out how we can move as fast as we can when we shoot the feature. So lets not worry about actors, all we need is someone to sit there as we do our tests.

Plus another actress who got a big role in a major studio film (ensemble cast) is getting more and more interested in the story as well.
