You could have an amazing Full HD production studio. I you could make the system portable now that would be perfect.

You're talking about a recorder that records 18 HOURS of full-rez 4:2:2 HD-SDI video. Do you know how much that would cost to get on tape? About $100,000 for an HD-D5 deck. And then you'd be limited to maybe 45 minutes per tape.
