That's going to be difficult, since I just moved to Canada!...And who have I pissed off on these boards other than Captain Mench?...If you want a first hand account of someone who's seen me in the wild, ask Willis Chung.

Here, Mark. In lieu of me not attending, is this up close and personal enough?

Why the hell did you move to canada?

Because I hadn't seen a client in years and realized I can do my job from anywhere, so why not a place with free health care, good schools for my daughter, multiple sets of grandparents who will lend a hand, and a 500 dollar a month mortgage. My wife is from there, my daughter was born there, we had talked about it for several years, already owned a house and figured now is as good a time as any with the economy in the crapper. I could live on one editing gig every few months from up here if it came to that. I have good contacts in Los Angeles who are okay with fedexing me tapes and drives, then I shoot cuts back over FTP. I'll probably fly in for my busy months of March and October (around the film markets)...Of course, it never fails, once I made my decision and had one foot out the door I got "the phone call" from one of my film school buddies, who is well established (meaning he's been paid actual money to direct a few features) and wanted to collaborate on a script...I ended up writing the first draft in a week. We'll see how that goes, but I may return sooner than intended.
