Gary Long, who is walking across the country to recover his normal body weight and health (afatmansjourney.com) is departing on the LA-to-St. Louis leg of his journey this morning. He's leaving from the Claremont old school house (http://www.cusd.claremont.edu/www/community/tour/osh.html) at 10:30 PDT and heading west, along Foothill Blvd / Rt. 66.
If any of you are along his path and can get some footage of his walk, I'd like to compile it for a documentary. There's no pay, only credit, and DV or HD is fine, mailed or ftp'd to me. I can give you specific locations and times if you're interested. Tapes mailed to me will be returned or replaced with fresh tape, your choice.
