Hey guys,

Just thought, that I should all let you know. Volare Film Tools is a new manufacturer, who has some very nice looking, very modular designs. He has 3d models, mostly on Facebook!

Well anyways, less talk and picture..

You can even customise the C-Rod support!

The prices are also, very very nice! You have the option of choosing the kit right for you. He has Cinefix R8 cages in different configurations, you can also configure your T3 to your demand.

Definitely interesting! He should have something for sale very very soon!

Apparently the designer has never shot with a rig before, the inability to move the side handles renders this pretty much useless, not to metion the size is way to big to shoot with for more than a couple minutes. the leather trim is absolutly rediculous. most of us see through the marketing hype. "Hey guys look at me, my rig is trimmed in leather" Why? "cause it's stylish, I know my work sucks, but I figure I could flash my rig before the film. Maybe when the audience sees what my rig looks like they will think my work is better, besides, who doesn't like naugahyde (sp) :)

Seriously
the pluses are the ability to confrigure the rods in many positions, and the base plate has a cool look, thats about it though. are you the maker?

Alright, folks. We've cleaned up in here.

Keep it civil, keep it friendly. If needed, please consult the Forum Guidelines as a reminder of how we operate around here.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder & I certainly appreciate the time & effort you've put in to designing this, especially all the intricate features. In my eyes it looks like a bunch of meccano. It's not as ugly as the gini rigs with a million thumb bolts all over the place. I was actually on your website / facebook page even before this post was up. Unfortunately I was on there for no more than a minute. I dunno how I landed there but obviously the net is doing good for you.

It looks like a spider or Tie fighter from star wars. Videographers carry enough chunky equipment around and a change would be good. IMO I believe a smoother look would appeal more (of the grey connector bits). The option to add leather / CF is a brilliant idea, people love to personalise their gear, try offering different colours too.

My oppinions are based on my perspective & being a professional graphic designer for 15 yrs & AMATEUR videographer for 9 yrs. Oman, kindly don't take offense to my comments, merely consider it as feedback. On another note, I lived in Oman for 12 years!

I wish you the best of luck & all the success.

Most rig outfits out there look a hell of lot worse!!! But this is a matter or individuals taste l suppose. What would you suggest? Would you prefer it in black instead of grey? Is it to simple?
