Hi,

Is there a difference using a Voigtlander m4/3 or Canon mount in AF100 ?
I'm asking because I have the AF100, 5D, 7D and GH2, a Canon mount should work in all cameras, any advantage of m4/3 in a Voigtlander ?

Thanks,
Ulisses

canon mount is a canon mount, how can u expect it to work on m4/3 mount with out any kind of adopter?? u told u have 5d and gh2, can u put your canon lens on gh2? u need an adopter

Voigtlander m4/3 has the same mount as your af100 and gh2

also keep in mind that Canon lenses dont have iris ring, so if u r going to use these lenses on gh2 or af100 u ll need adopter with iris ring or u need an adopter with electronic connection!

currently there are 2 options for electronic eos to m4/3 adopters:

I was not saying I wont use an adapter, just asking if there are advantages on the m4/3 version

My adapter has iris control

Thanks again,
Ulisses

Does Voightlander make Canon mount lenses? If so I'd go with that and use an adapter as you can't go the other way around. One negative with micro 4/3 format is that these lenses in general can't be used on other cameras.
