Is there any word on when this lens may be available? Sorry if it's posted elsewhere and I missed it...

It is in high demand.
Basically, order it from Photovillage or Cameraquest and wait.

I ordered mine last month from Photovillage and it arrived via 2-day shipping two days later. Very satisfied with their service. At f/0.95 the lens is not as sharp as f1.4, which is no surprise.
