Voigtlander 25mm 0.95.. Which retailer to pre order from?

I ordered mine from www.mainlinephoto.com.au from Sydney Australia for $895 (International buyers price $813 Aust dollars) They didn't debit my credit card until the day it was posted. Fully recommend the lens, really well made, relatively small and light with a long focus throw, 10 aperture blades. I see it as very reasonable price for build quality compared to Nikons 24mm f1.4 G $2769 Aust dollars.

BY some miracle of nature (or God) there were 3 voigtlander 25mm 0.95 in stock at photo village yesterday and I just happened to be browsing and ordered it. Arriving tomorrow! I believe there is still one available according to the website. check it out.

act quick, before you know it, it will be gone. I am so excited to test out the lens tomorrow.

Same here. They haven't debit my credit card yet, it seems that the next shipment is coming in the end of May.

I tried to ride that bus ... was full both times :-(

Yes, well that's the point. I did the same thing (only perhaps not as long). My suggestion (to anyone) put your deposit money down, don't get taken advantage of on eBay (going for $1300-ish or more).

Got an e-mail from the east coast folks, called immediately . . . and I mean within seconds.
Told me they were sold out--I suspect that was the case before the e-mail notice was sent.

Because of my flip-flopping I missed the cut for the February allocation at CameraQuest.
But I did put down a $100 deposit soon enough to get into the late April allocation (and lock my purchase price).
Lens arrived today--and I'm extremely impressed with it.
