Hi there.
My name is Kresimir Pernek and I am an independent animator in Croatia. For couple of last months I am working on a feature length animated film. I'm working on the visuals on my own and would like to talk to you about the voice over work if you are interested. The thing is that I am looking for US resident cause I can't get a natural english speaking actors in my country.
Here is the tricky part: I need someone who can record the voice on his own and send it to me over the internet. I don't mean, you need to rent out the music studio, just if you can get your hands on some solid microphone, and a room that is somehow isolated from the loud sounds from outside. I know, I am asking too much, but maybe you know someone who can borrow you a mic. I am living and working all the way in Croatia and that is the only way to get some US voice over work.
I am planning to finish the project in the next 2,3 months. Then I have a meeting with the largest studio in my country and if it all goes well, I'll pay your fair share. The studio wasn't producing feature length films from quite some time now, and from reliable resources I was told that I have 80% chance to sell my work to them. I am working on my own, as a one man band, with music composer, and I already have one female actress. It won't be a huge project worth millions of $, I am aiming at selling rights by 10 000$ per 1 year, just so you know.
I know my request is pretty unusual, but I hope you realize that I have no other way to do business offshore. I haven't got any budget to pay you in advance so I must offer you payment on sell of the project. I am planning to open a small animation studio, so there will be a lot of work for you if you are interested.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards.
