VMP + JL-CX211 + Sescom Cable + GH2

I've been thinking about audio setup... for months. This is the setup I'm thinking currently.

VMP with 9V battery and 0 gain -> XLR adapter -> JL-CX211 -> Sescom split cable -> GH2

It doesn't have to VMP, but it seems versatile just in case I wanna go super light.

Hope the cable split line gives clean live-audio monitoring.

I presume GH2's AGC can be disabled.

No dual recording. I'm lazy.

JL-DT454 is another option... but it costs more than twice.

I don't really know what you mean by this, as the GH2 has complete audio control and can absolutely turn off AGC by selecting 1 of 4 levels for microphone input.

The detail shed some light on AGC. It didn't sound so terrible.
