vlogging ... anyone doing it?

Back story: I used to blog way back in ... 2002/2003? I ran across some of the old ones not too long ago, and it was kind of neat to remember everything I was going through 8 years ago. I had forgotten so many fun times.

More recent back story: I just got back from NC visiting family and all. I hadn't seen my parents / sisters in a little over a year, and with the distance (1200 miles), it seems like that won't be changing until they finally perfect the teleportation system.

Now: I realized that a lot of my family and friends missed out on what was going on out here with me, sans facebook updates, but those barely capture the mood. It's just text. So I started considering vlogging on a separate youtube channel.

Does anyone here have a vlogging channel? I'd like to see how you're doing it, and honestly just see what's going on with you in your neck of the world.

Well, we started the project at the beginning of the year. We're vlogging back and forth while trying to post about our lives and/or current events. So far it's going fine except for the fact that one of the guys has only posted once. Bummer on that end.

I've been thinking about starting a vlog or a podcast or something about Marianne.

There's a lot to be said about writing, directing, producing and financing an independent film today.

Also, it would help keep people interested as well as possibly bring some more attention to the film.

But knowing myself, I would probably do one or two and then give up from lack of time.

Yeah, my first one took about 2 and a half hours from concept (of what to cover) until it was uploaded on youtube. Now it takes around an hour. That includes any rendering and compressing.
