Is it a well known problem that VLC can't play back XAVC-L? It managed to play back XAVC-S and XAVC-I fine, but can't handle Long? Is there anything I can download to remedy this? Premiere reads it fine, but it's a bloody pain to not be able to review my clips unless I open Premiere. :S

I"ve had better experience with PotPlayer and Light Alloy than VLC, although in my case I didn't have to play Xavc-l.
Anyway, perhaps you may want to give them a try a see if there's any difference...
