VLC Player - Can't detect Audio Track

OK this is weird.

I shot some footage on Friday, downloaded it onto my computer and my VLC Player played it back fine, video and audio.

However today I shot some more footage and downloaded it onto my computer and this time VLC can't play the audio from the new footage HOWEVER it can still play audio from the older footage from 2 days ago. What is wrong?

And funny thing is that Windows Media Player CAN play the audio track but with no video on BOTH the new footage and footage from 2 days ago.

So what is the problem do you think?
 
OMG, I found the PROBLEM!!! VLC Player DOES NOT playback audio at 1080@60p! Only at 1080@30p or below which is the official AVCHD spec up until now.

Can anyone verify this?

Edit: What are you guys using to playback 1080@60p on your computer?
