Vista P2 drivers/Viewer

I bought a new laptop w/Vista. I assume that shooters new to P2 ( cutting edge, early adopters, unafraid of file based acquisition) are buying a camera, accessories AND a laptop w/Vista to complement. My workflow has been to 8 gig cards, download to laptop drive via/PCMCIA slot and make dupe to external HDD on the spot.
Sent an email to Panasonic after looking for driver and the curt answer was " XP SP2 only supported at this time" Didn't they know this was coming??
Tried XP SP2 compatability mode on the viewer but no go, won't even install.
Anyone have an idea???I can't borrow my kids laptops forever...
Panasonic, are you listening???

That's unfortunate.

But for now, just get a copy of Windows XP Pro SP2 and install that instead. Make a dual-boot system if you feel you have to.

i guess i know i won't try vista through bootcamp now on my Macbook Pro! o well.
