I am visiting IBC Amsterdam this Friday. Any tips or questions for visit companies or stands? Things to look for?
Happy to visit some exhibitors or make some pictures on request.

Apparently Sony's going to have v7 up and running on a demo F55. I know I (and I'm sure many others) would really appreciate a quick and dirty video showing off how the new menu interface works. That's a big deal.

Cheers!

Small announced a 7" version of their 502 monitor today - the 702... but brighter for better use in daylight (and supports Sony L batts). Seeing them next to each other to report if the brightness (and bigger screen) might indeed be worth a little extra dough...

Please ask Atomos if they have any plans on supporting higher frame rates than 30p from the FS7/FS700 raw output! Would be great to have at least 2K at 50/60p if not 100/120p.

Tell the SONY reps to give us LUT's in Custom! Sorry to beat a dead horse but it is a good time to bend their ears. I'll go under my blanket now.

This is the list so far.

Check out Sony for their new FS series camera!!

Also ask them if they plan to support 4k recording from FS7. Presently, Shogun displays no input when driven at 4k.

My big take away from this IBC so far is something not obvious at first. Sony by releasing new cameras and lenses shows their dedication to E-mount, that they'll won't drop it anytime sooner or later. That seems to finally be recognised by almost all third party lens manufacturers- have a look how many lenses were announced with e-mount on this IBC so far. I think it safe to fully invest in native e-mount lenses- that mount will stay as a standard for Sony.
