VisionColor has given dvxuser members a discount code for their products!

This is for 20% off individual sales for all of their items. Including Impulz.

Since I can't find a way to post it where only members can see it, I'll share it via PM.

But please keep it to yourself, don't post it anywhere.

Edit 8/25: The code is still active but I don't keep track of this thread so PM me for the code.

Edit: 3/8/15: Users have told me the code still works however the discount seems to be 20% instead of 30%.

Impulz is excellent. I use it in FCPx with LUT utility (also necessary to allow you to use Impulz) For me it removes the slight video look is see in the GH4 footage and adds a nice film grain. I bought ultimate as it contains profiles for the C100 as well as the GH4. I'm not sure what version you need for the GH4 profiles only.

Here is a quick and dirty edit of GH4 4K footage graded with Impulz LUTs and FCPx:

Would you care to give a quick tip or two as to how you use these in FCP X? And where is the LUT utility?

I'm not sure what version you need for the GH4 profiles only.

You have to purchase LUT Utility from Colour Grading Central also in order to use Impulz LUTs. Its not very clear on their website.

Once installed, LUT utility will show up in the Effects browser in FCPx which can be applied to clips on your timeline. You then select the desired Impulz LUT from the drop down in the inspector panel.
